Tivat is the newest and smallest municipality in the Bay of Kotor. It is situated between Vrmac peninsula, field of Tivat and the mountain of Krtola. Tivat is the youngest town in the Boka area was established on the spacious plateau at the bottom of Vrmac. Tivat has the most favorable natural conditions for city development at the coast of Montenegro. It covers the space of 46 km2 with about 13 thousands inhabitants. Thanks to its geographical position, climate and the sea, people have been living here from the oldest periods, leaving the traces of their culture. Tivat has several beautiful beaches, offering favorable accommodation in the following hotels: “Mimoza”, “Plavi Horizonti”, “Kamelija” and other state or private facilities.

Property market is as active as it can be. There are some huge expectations when the promised luxury yacht marina is developed. Property prices are a bit lower than in Budva but still competitive.
